ICPE Director-General's visit to India in the previous week has resulted in strengthening cooperation and friendship relationship between Slovenia and India. The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) and ICPE have an extensive history of cooperation in the area of PSE management, most notably in the form of short term executive training programmes and one year international MBA programme. During the visit the DPE, Government of India and ICPE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) increasing the scope of cooperation in the area of Public Sector Enterprises Management.

ICPE and the DPE have agreed to a Joint Action Plan for the year 2010-2011 that foresees 15 Short term Executive Training Programmes, upgrade of the current MBA programme, anual organization of two international conferences in New Delhi, revival  of the International Journal of Public Enterprises, research and exchange programmes in the public sector management and more.

The MoU came into force on the date of signing, July 7th, and shall remain valid for 2010-2011.
